As a not-for-profit organisation, Girls in Tech Australia relies on the relationships we build with our community, and the support from our generous partners to achieve our mission – to build a more diverse and inclusive Australia.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that IT Consultancy, Servian, has signed as a National Partner.
Servian helps major banks, retailers, telcos and other large companies draw insights from their data, with expertise that spread from digital delivery to artificial intelligence and cloud migration. It has over 500 consultants spanning 10 offices across the world.
We welcome and thank the whole team for joining us on our journey in supporting all women with an interest in technology and startups, and by providing them with a platform for growth.
“Educating and empowering individuals to grow their leadership qualities and raise their career ambitions is something we’re passionate about at Servian. We practise it internally by creating an environment that encourages employee growth, but we also aim to extend that culture beyond the organisation wherever we can,” says Servian CEO and founder, Tony Nicol. “It’s like-minded organisations such as Girls in Tech that allow us to do this, and that’s why we’re so excited to continue our partnership for a consecutive year.”
Servian partners with some of the major technology companies in Australia. It was named Services Partner of the Year for Google Cloud, Talend and Snowflake for Asia Pacific, 2019.
Since launching locally three years ago, Girls in Tech’s Australian chapter has aimed to connect, engage and inspire over 50,000 women across the country by offering a range of programmes, from our famed Girls Boss Night events and Hacking 4 Humanity, to weekend bootcamps and personal branding evenings – all catered with divine wine and cheese!
Our success has enabled us to extend our reach into Sydney and Brisbane, but this could not have been possible without the help and support of our incredible partners.
Thank you Servian for believing in our mission and we look forward to working with the whole team throughout the rest of the year.
